uhhh...

Ohio has been great to us. Cleveland was a bit hectic but it was a nice route through the city and the outlying suburbs. We met a group of people right in front of the Brown's stadium that asked us for directions around the construction since the main route was closed. They also asked us what we were doing on our loaded bikes. Within minutes Dennis, Penny, Mike, Ellen, Mike and Tammy had invited us to camp out at their neighborhood beach. Wanting to embrace their offer and alms, we thought "Why not?" I think both Eddie and I are mourning the end of this trip already and want to stretch it out as much as possible. We rode ahead and set up camp at the aforementioned beach and went for a dip in Lake Erie. Later in the evening the whole group came down to the beach with coolers of beer and we indulged in drinks and great conversation for a few hours. They made us feel so comfortable and welcome. It was great. Eddie and I also had our first toxic run-in with an a**hole who claimed that "if it doesn't have a license plate, it should stay the *&%# off the road"

I had one of the best and worst experiences today. First the best was being able to share drinks on the shores of Lake Erie with some new friends who had invited us to tent at their neighborhood beach. The other was dealing with a man so filled with road rage that the carbuncles on his face were on the verge of erupting from such high blood pressure.

We also had some good pizza for dinner at the Beach House pizzeria that helped soothe the Cleveland confrontation.
